My seatbelt edges have been chafing my clothes (edges of belt aren't smooth but feel like they've been worn to feel like sharp plastic). This chafing happens on my shirts on my left shoulder and my pants leg depending on the material I'm wearing. Have a nice light jacket that I wore a few times while driving the GTO and the shoulder part of the material looks like someone took sandpaper to it.
Has anyone had this happen with their GTO?
I want to replace the belt. Do I need to get a factory replacement or can I use an aftermarket belt material and install that? Anyone tips would be appreciated.
