I haven't used that specific kit,but have used an eagle stroker kit in a 302 ford and had no problems.

Odd that the rods are 6.200". Most rods for a 4.00" stroke are 6.125". I've never even heard of the bearing manufacturers listed.

I'd probably stay away.

Looks like the standard Probe Industries stroker kit. Nothing special at all in the kit as it's standard fare for most kits. We have sold plenty of their Ford stroker packages and never an issue once they were fitted.

As for the imported parts issue... well... unless you have very high dollar Crower, Winberg or Oliver rotating assembly, it's going to be imported. SCAT, Eagle and every other inexpensive stroker kit uses overseas hard parts. Get used to it.

Getting them checked and machined to fit properly is what separates the cheap budget builds from those that make power and last.

If the OP is interested in this type of stroker kit, I can price one out for you. There are many options available and the costs will vary.

+1.

Eagle cranks usually require additional machining to fix the lazy finishing done in China. You better tack the reluctor while your there. The bargain priced crank after you re machine it is not a bargain in the end. Never had a problem with the rods.

Buy from a reputable vendor. This is not the kind of shit you buy on Fleabay.
