I just installed the shifter and everything went well. The only thing is the kind of noises I hear now. I know I've heard that its going to be noisier but I just wanted to verify the type of noise I hear. After the instal if sitting in the car while its at idle and in neutral you can hear a slight rattle from the trans area but as soon as you put the clutch in it goes away. Also while driving in first I hear some whining and while shifting into first and second it sounds like some synchro noises. Is this the typical types of noises that you wil hear after installing this shifter?

Sounds exactly like mine except for the last noise you described concerning the synchro noises between first and second. I have not experienced that noise. That noise my not be caused by the shifter. You may want to change your transmission fluid to see if that noise goes away.
