Hood Scoop Measurements, Please?

I've always wanted the 05/06 scooped hood. Unfortunately I have yet to find the right one, mostly due to living in BFE.

While I will never give up that search, I just can't take my boring flat hood anymore, so I will be temporarily FPFQing my 04 hood with custom vinyl stripes. I want to emulate the positioning of the scooped hood as closely as possible with these.

Can someone with scoops please take some measurements for me?

Looking for the following details:

* Distance between the scoops
* Width of scoop, front edge
* Width of scoop, back edge
* Length of scoop, inner edge
* Length of scoop, outer edge
* Distance from the front edge of hood to front edge of inner corner
* Distance from the front edge of hood to front edge of outer corner
* Distance from the rear edge of hood to rear edge of inner corner
* Distance from the rear edge of hood to rear edge of outer corner

Also, I know it can't be very accurate, but if you could ballpark how wide a stripe would be at the back edge of the hood, as if you had striped the entire humped portions to the back of the hood, I would super appreciate it!

Two different meanings to the same word!

Greetings Subzero & all; Everyone is jumppin' to help? Anyway how about I go get my wifes sewing tape & tape (ya I know two different meanings to the same word) it to the hood. Cross ways & length ways, take a couple of pictures? Would that help? I can do that tonight if your interested? Ole" Bob.

You're welcome. And are we going to meet up at the Tail Of the Dragon meet in the fall?? I haven' seen any posts, but that event can't be more than a couple hundred miles for you. About 700+ for me, but It's on my bucket list. I sure hope that event takes place again. Ole' Bob.

I've always wanted to do that, and yes, it's not far. If there is a GTO gathering this year, you can count me in!

BTW your car is so shiny... I'm envious! Nice ride!

Good Morning Mr. Zero & all; Please let me know if ya here anything about a "Tail of The Dragon" taking place? And of course we want to see your end project, pictures. I know ya didn't ask but I prefer the smooth hood. Damn near traded my 05 for a pristine 04 hood. Mines got three bug-stone chips in it but the guy still wanted to trade. I didn't do it because it would of killed any resale in the future. Take care Ole' Bob.
