i know, i know. it's ridiculous.

I'm creating something unique with my car; a 'road race' look of sorts and i need some recommendations on wheels/offsets.

I'll be cutting the existing fenders and fabbing up some molded in flares from scratch. they'll only be welded onto the metal parts of the fenders and wont stretch over the plastic bumper area, front or rear.

I want a good 2-3 inches of tire overhang in the rear and about 2 inches on the front. I'm havaing hell finding a 17x10 or 17x11 wheel in the 5x120 or 5x4.75 variety and was wondering if you guys could point me in the direction of a manufacturer of even a specific wheel that might fit the bill

if i can get one over the counter rather than having to have something custom made, that'll save me a ton of money.

thanks!

lol bueller?

nobody knows of any 17x10s or 17x11s?

I've found a very small offering from Weld and a couple other places but the cost is around $550-$700 per wheel. Id love to be able to shave that down a little, lol.

I have the coilovers covered and the body work to create the actual flares already paid for, just need to get the wheels sorted without completely blowing the budget.

Just throwing it out there, but what about having wheels widened?

yeah, don't like the torque thrusts for this build.

I did find some Enkeis that won't break the budget, PF01 and they come in 18x10.5 with our bolt pattern for about $250 each.

it's amazing how difficult it is to find shit that fits our cars and is wider than 9" lol

Apex makes some wide wheels. not sure they have an 11inch wide one though

I like those Apex wheels, their website says all sold out of damn near everything though... anyone have a lead on a reputable reseller?

I found some cosmis racing wheels, 18x10 et20 for all four corners. i am a COMPLETE tard when it comes to calculating offsets, can someone advise?

I need them to come past the fender lip by a few inches, is the et20 going to push them out or bring them in toward the suspension?

if our stock 18x8 wheel has offset of 48, with a 20 offset im going to be pushing the wheel out toward the fender by 28mm, right? then we add the additional 2 inches for wheel width and I'm going to be sitting with a wheel about the same as a stock wheel into the wheel well and 2 inches further out than the stock wheel.

right?

holy shit i feel like a new man. A man who understands offsets.

THANKS!

thanks, Nate. I'd rather not use an adapter because the wheels are going to stick out so far already, don't want to have a weak spot and risk bends/breaks.

Your setup looks great but I'm going for something different and will actually need the wheels/tires to extend beyond the lip of the fender by a couple of inches.

The 18x10 ET+20 are going to be 53 mm or just a tick over 2" out from a stock wheel. The front wheel on my car is 1.5" out. The inner clearance on mine is the same as a stock 8" wheel. I don't think the 18x10 ET 20 is going to fill up wide body flares is what I am getting at.
