Wait, some people think its real?

actually, that can be done...keep the speed up enuf and the centrifugal force will hold you against the wall...

I think they over looked some things...
Like the lights on the wall that he miraculously drives over and the vertical wall that the ramp leads him into.

We done a lab in a science class a took a while back to find out if this was possible. After we tried it smaller scale and everything, we found out that a vehicle weighing 3000lbs would have to traveling ~237mph IIRC, the entire time to make it completely around the loop.

So, I definitely think its fake...

It's fake, and the car looks like shit IMHO.

You don't need aero downforce to do that - the spiral pattern will cause the car to stick to the roof from centrifugal force. Just like the old loop-the-loop with motorbikes, roller coasters, etc.

The Top Gear guys kinda did this in a crappy Renault, although he didn't go fast enough to remain in contact all the way round:

As for whether Mercedes faked this: I wouldn't be surprised if it's real. It is apparently a real Merc advertisement and it obviously had a decent budget and the physics is OK. it'd be a bit lame to fake it after all that.

Fake, they wouldn't dare do a stunt like that without all the safety equipment installed in the car like a full cage and neck braces and etc...

Even backwoods stunt guys are smart enough to do that, I'm sure mercedes would do the same if it was real
