Tie Rod Ends

Did my outer Tie Rod ends today as I had noticed last week when doing brake pads that the passengers side was leaking grease and looked generally bad. Fast shipping from Kollar Racing and I had the Roadsafe upgraded units in hand. Job took about 30 minutes on each side, no rust on mine just patina as I've never driven my GTO in the rain or snow. The new units didn't move as freely as the old ones and its a huge upgrade in steering feel already.

I am new to the GTO community having purchased my 2006 GTO about two weeks ago. I replaced my inner and outer tie rods today along with installing the BMR steering bushing. This should remove the looseness in my steering as well. Got the parts from Kollar Racing. Excellent company.

Great fast shipping from ya'll too, I ordered a week ago Sunday and they were In my mailbox this past Wednesday or Thursday.

Since December I've gone from 100% stock original suspension components to the following in my driveway:

- Whiteline Radius Rod Bushings
- Moog Sway Bar Links
- OE Replacement Monroe Sensa-Trac Struts, Mounts, and Strut Bearing
- Kollar Outer Tie Rod Ends

Still have Energy Suspension Sway Bushings to do maybe this weekend.

My question is what should I do next for bang for the buck handling and ride experience? Car has 57K miles in my 11 years of ownership and has never been a daily driver, just a pleasure cruiser and impromptu street racer.

I've never done inner tie rod ends, but I know I am due. Crawled under the car the other night and saw that the passenger side boot is shot and there's dirt and sand caked all over the tie rod end. Anyone have a writeup or tips on doing inners? I'd appreciate it. I plan on hitting up Kollar Racing and do both inner and outer tie rods while I do my brakes too

it's as easy as doing brakes.

check the free service manual thread and download the appropriate pdf

Dumb question...but I have 3 out of four tie rods that appear to be bad. I know the inners are connected to the steering rack, but the others run vertically just behind the rotor/hub, am I correct? Want to be sure before I hit up Kollar's website.

there are only two tie rods. the are obvious as they run from the knuckle to the rack.

the vertical bars with the small ball joint on the bottom and the rubber bushings on the top are the end links for the swaybar.
