Had a set of LT's installed by TTP a few weeks ago. No personal experience with Cartek so I can't say anything useful about them. Matt at TTP offered me a great price on the parts with install / tune. The parts arrived just about to the day he said they would be in and he scheduled me quickly.

The day of the install I drove 2+ hours to their shop and hit some real bad weather on the way. When I arrived at TTP, they were standing around looking bored. Turns out a massive lightning strike took out a power line a few blocks away and they had no juice. Bummer...

After seeing me mope around for an hour or so waiting for power, Matt offered that he had a friend with a shop nearby that owed him some favors. After a few calls, he packed up his Escalade with my headers, a bunch of tools, and two of his installers. His guys worked in 93* heat at a non-A/C shop to get them in and had them knocked out in under three hours. Moral of the story: they really went out of their way to accommodate a first-time customer. The following morning Matt tuned the car and got some real decent numbers out of my mostly-stock M6.

Only 'con' is that these guys are good; because they do good work they have a lot of people lined up! There were 13 F-bodies/vettes there the day I visited and the phones were still ringing.

TTP has a lot of good experience with F-bodys, corvettes, and now GTOs. They have done a lot of work to my car and are really getting into the GTOs now. Lately everytime I have gone there(past month or two) there have been at least 2 other GTOs there. They are very familiar with everything on the car and can make great suggestions as what to buy if you have any questions. My car in some aspects they learned alot on. If you need tuning, motor work, suspension work, drivetrain work, brake work, dyno, electrical, etc they have done it on a GTO.

I've had the following done there.

Heads, Cam, lifters, driveshaft, 3.91s, drag bags, some bushings, tuning, dynos, they have had the exhaust on and off more times than I can count. I can't think of anything they wouldn't be able to do for you. Plus they have a larger facility coming with more lifts and an in ground dyno. I think they are going to have 6-7 lifts compared to their 2 + above ground dyno lift. Gives you an idea of how much business they get if they can make that kind of facility upgrade.

Thanks guys, as any of my customers know we try to go out of our way to take care of our customers. Problem is that the cars keep lining up! lol. We are a little slow sometimes, but when a car is delivered it is done right.

My 2000 Z28 and my 05 GTO were tuned by Julio at Cartek. Julio knows his stuff. No problems. Good service, nice people, busy shop.

These past several weeks I was looking for a set of LT's for my GTO. Long story short, I was quoted an excellent price by Matt at TTP. A few weeks later I tried to contact Matt @ TTP to buy the headers. I pm'd him a couple of times, emailed him and I called the shop and they took down my number. Never heard back from him or anyone at the shop. This might be an isolated case. They probably do very good work. I don't know.

Smoke: You are absolutely right. My mother was actually in for surgery and I took off a bit. This is no excuse for my lack of replying to people, but that is the explaination. I am back here in full force.

Matt: I hope your mother is doing well. I didn't know. In fact, family is more important than business. There will always be sick, addicted madmen like me here to pay you to make our cars fast. :patriot:

JBss: lol. Yes I do apologize. Just to let everyone know ARH had an equipment problem with one of their 1 7/8" dyes. The manufacturer forgot to harden the dye!!! Nick is working round the clock to get this problem fixed and back up and running.

Matt.....

I paid for a dyno tune some time ago, but haven't gotten it done yet. I know that you guys are busy and are moving into the new shop, but didn't know about your family (hope all is going well now). I didn't have any replies to PMs and phone calls, is there something else we can work out, other than a tune?

given a choice between the two I'd go with matt, seems like a real nice guy when I met him on a dyno day.....julio doesn't like to talk to anyone, rather smoke his cigar. Matt on teh other hand was havin a ball dyno'in my big horsepower tow rig last fall with me...3 pulls turned into what 5-6 tryin out things with the tranny programming to get teh downshifts just right and the juice just right, lol...

never had 'work' done by either shop, then again I never asked ttp to work on anything, cartek let my truck sit there for 2 weeks and never got to tuning it and told me to pick it up afterwards, untouched.

Of course ECS did the work on my TT Z06, but their main stuff is vettes, not GTO's.

I've heard nothing but good things about Matt and TTP.

Getting the money together for headers and a tune Matt, see ya soon. :judge:

Cartek is the best shop on the east coast. Look at all the fast cars they have done

pauls twin turbo vette (fastest ls6 vette in the country)8.40

Alex's trans am (fastest and most horsepower for a naturally asperated ws6 trans am in the world) 10.30

And my dad's car fastest cam only 2004 GTO in the country.

Cartek does things that other shops can not even come close in doing:patriot:

that car is only a 02 Z06 shell, it barely qualifies as an LS6, with the internals in it.....and with a powerglide and a solid rear axle I really wouldn't consider it a vette from a drag racing point of view, more a vette turned dragcar....and at that its great..
