I put mine in "hibernation" for the winter, and about 2 months after that the battery died, because I did not put a trickle charger on it.
So I just started calling around. I called Sears, AutoZone, PepBoys, Napa, etc...nobody had a battery for the GTO.
I called up the Dealership, they had one and it was 130 dollars. I picked it up and put the battery by itself on a trickle charger for a day or two.
I did not want to wait to put a battery in the GTO. I'm sure I could have ordered it for cheaper, but I didn't want to have the car be non-driveable, in case I had to take it out of the garage quickly.
So yeah, batteries are hard to find for this car. That is all.
