What color would you repaint your car?

Would you go with another GTO color or another GM/Ford/Dodge color? I'm interested in what others would choose.

The primary colors I am tempted to do are YJ, SRM, CPM, matte black, and some kind of white. My interior and wheels are neutral so I am not worried about having to switch the interior or wheels out.

I'd repaint my Impulse Blue the factory color with a touch more flake in it. Although I would put a hell of a lot more clear on it. I would do what my buddy did who had a paint shop. Put two gallons of clear on the front of the car, which looked great on his Bronco. lol

Whatever color you choose (if re-painting), be sure to buy an extra quart or two and keep it on the side in a temperature controlled area. That way, if you ever need to have a hood or other large part re-panted, you'll have the original mix on stand-by.

If it were me, I'd go with something completely original and not an OEM color. I'm also partial to metallic paints. Maybe I'd go with a deep jade metallic, brilliant white metallic, Titanium (or gunmetal) Metallic, etc. That's just me though.

Rather than SRM, I would do Dodge's Inferno Red Metallic. There are several versions I believe, all very similar, but the one from a PT Cruiser of all things is perfect. I was once at a car show with tons of red cars. I carefully compared them. Some too red, some too purple, whatever. This one, done on a 30s classic was perfect. Owner was a good guy, carefully advised which Inferno it was. Also the Dodge Toxic Orange is an awesome color. Finally BMW's Vermillion Red is a great color.

Inferno btw is very similar to srm, exactly in fact, in certain light, but srm turns orange-brownish in other lights and is not as rich as Inferno, which is 3 layer paint. I hope to do Inferno within the next year.

I would love to do an Orange. I have seen a couple and they are absolutely stunning!

If I ever had to respray my car I'd strongly consider Some Like It Hot Red used on the 2015+ SS. It's like SRM with a tad more orange metallic flake.

I'd go with a slight gold tinted white metallic similar to what I've sen on some of the late model Caddies. I think that would look awesome on a Goat.

When I picked up my MBM, I was looking for a CGM. If painting, I think the metallic grey of my '14 Fusion is prettier.
